STEROID RELATED
Once upon a time, in a place far, far away, a medical doctor, a registered dietician, and a college nutrition professor all gathered at the local pub after a hard days work. Bored, and longing for excitement, the three jolly fellows put their heads together and compiled the world's very first book of nutritional folklores.Andropause occurs as a result of plummeting levels of testosterone, the dominant male hormone. This hormonal function starts to decline gradually as men age. Just like menopause, when decreasing levels of estrogen (the most dominant female hormone) play havoc on the female body ? it can apply to men as well. Because of this condition, symptoms such as the loss of libido, impotence, and depression may present themselves.
Anabolic Steroids- Will they work for me?
Unfortunately nobody can tell that question over the internet, but here are some tips to consider!
Anabolic Hormones, a double edged sword
When I was a young boy, emerging muscles were the coolest thing. If a vein popped out a little, that was even more awesome. There were no fitness centers or body building gyms to amount to anything back then (Stone Age). If you aspired to brawn, Charles Atlas paraphernalia advertised in comic books was guaranteed to help you turn the cards on the guy who kicked sand in your face on the beach last summer.
Safe and Effective use of Steroids
This is my first outline, still very rough and basic and missing one or two
essential elements, of the sane cycle. A project I have been working on in past
months to outline a steroid/diet/supplementation plan that allows you to stay
healthy, increase your health and still add a nominal amount of LEAN mass to your
frame while maintaining of lowering fat.
A few minor inconveniences aside, the only really bad thing about steroids is that
you have to come off of them. Technically, of course, you don't HAVE to, but this
article isn't intended for those who fall into that category. Nor is it intended for
the athlete who uses a gram per week for long periods and then typically uses
insulin, DNP, prostaglandins, and other such compounds if they ever do actually come
off (That topic, though quite fun to fantasize about, has nothing to do with most
athletes). The recommendations in this article will do very little for maintaining
the unnatural degree of muscularity attained with such methods. It's instead
intended primarily for the moderate user, whom I'll (arbitrarily) define for our
purposes as someone using 400-600 mg/week of steroids -- or very high doses of
prohormones (1g/day of a topical, 100+mg/day intranasal).
7 Day Fat Loss cycle using DNP
The 7-day DNP Fat Loss Inferno Cycle -- A Special ReportHow Not to F*ck up DNP, Part II
The second part in the series...How not to F*ck up DNP, Part I
Heretic's manual on DNP use. (part IV of Animal's Manual on DNP use)Part III of Animal's DNP manual
(Part III of Animal's thoughts on DNP) (Part II of Animal's DNP manual) Well to start you need to asses yourself. Weight, age,
training experience, gear experience are all points to be addressed. From there you
should have a good understanding of where you stand. So now you need to figure out
where you want to go. Once that is figured out select one of the following cycles
and from there post what you hope to achieve and what cycle you picked to get you
there and we vets will help smooth everything else out. One thing you might notice
is I use a relatively small selection of gear for my sample cycles, that is because
you usually only need a couple drugs to obtain your desired results. Test, deca,
dbol, and/or anadrol is really all you need for most bulkers, of course you have
other options, but I like to keep things simple.
It is well established in bodybuilding circles that testosterone is superior to growth hormone for gaining muscle. However, growth hormone still is enormously popular and generally has a better reputation than testosterone both in bodybuilding and in anti-aging circles. The general impression is that testosterone will make you big, but at the price of acne, puffiness, temper tantrums, prostate enlargement, and possibly "gyno". Well it is acknowledged that growth hormone is not as anabolic as testosterone, people still think of growth hormone as a hormone that will make you lean and toned with almost no side effects. Growth hormone also has a reputation as being the "fountain of youth" among anti-aging enthusiasts, whereas testosterone is still considered somewhat dangerous. The purpose of this article is to see how the research on testosterone and growth hormone from the last few years has supported or disputed the public’s view of these two hormones.
Clenbuterol and Training, by Brian Haycock
As we approach the new millennium we find the science of building muscle progressing faster than ever before. Long gone are the days of simple trial and error when it comes to building muscle. The modern bodybuilder demands more than just "hear say" if they are to adopt a new training routine or nutritional supplement. The previous report made of results seen from the 2-on, 4-off cycle did not include any blood work, nor were there any "before" photos taken, and thus there were no "before and after" photos. Numerous readers were interested in learning more about this type of cycle, so a subject who was going to do such a cycle anyway (whom we will call Jim Kenyon) was asked if he would get blood tests during the cycle and provide photos. These photos were not to be like those seen in the muscle magazines: he was to try just as hard to look good in the "before" photos as in the "after" photos, instead of appearing defeated, dejected, untanned, slouched, unflexed, with bad posture in the "before" pictures. Using such tricks, no gains can be made to look like amazing gains, and that kind of deception was something we wished to avoid. This article, and future updates, will chronicle the results obtained by this athlete using this cycle plan.
Prohormones, Prosteroids, and Designer Steroids by L.Rea
As of late I have had several questions regarding the various prohormones, prosteroids and designer steroids…mostly "what the F#@*K is the differences" and, of course, do they work.

How do anabolic steroids differ, and why do they have differing effects? How do they work? When and how much of what steroid should be used, and why?
Enzymatic conversions of Anabolic Steroids, by Bill Roberts
Anabolic/androgenic steroids (AAS), when introduced into the body, do not necessarily remain unchanged. Enzymatic processes often convert them to different molecules. This is true of the prohormones as well: androstenedione will not necessarily remain as androstenedione, but some of it will be converted to testosterone. Although that example is well known, many other enzymatic conversions of steroids are less well-known in bodybuilding. We will be looking at these conversions in this article.
Chemical Concepts of Bodybuiding, by L.Rea
In our society a reality has at last become accepted: Age and sexual gender do not dictate athletic potential. With the main stream acceptance of high quality sports supplementation came stronger fitter bodies of all ages and entire thirty, forty and fifty-something generations pouring into the once undisputed young man's domain…the gym.
Androgens, Libido, and Sexual Function, by Pat Arnold
Androgenic hormones such as testosterone and anabolic steroids (as well as prohormones) have long been used by athletes for their effects on increasing muscle mass and strength. The anabolic effect on muscle is certainly not the only physiological effect that these hormones possess however, and for many people not particularly interested in bigger muscles androgens might offer other special benefits that justify their usage. Specifically, these involve improvement in the overall psychological state, and optimization of the libido and sexual function.
Androgen Receptor Regulation, by Bill Roberts
One of the most common beliefs concerning anabolic/androgenic steroid (AAS) usage is that the androgen receptor (AR) downregulates as a result of such usage. This has been claimed repeatedly in many books and articles, and it is claimed constantly on bulletin boards and the like. If I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a thousand times. If it were just being stated as an abstruse hypothesis, with no practical implications, with no decisions being based on it, that might be of little importance.
Anabolic Steroids and Drug Development, by Pat Arnold
Anyway, here is yet another steroid article. But what am I to write about? I had to think about this for a while and finally I decided to talk about the development of some steroids that you never heard of because they never made it to the market. I guess that by discussing this subject I can make a point about drug development in general that many people do not understand.
Anabolic Steroid Esters, by Bill Roberts
Injectable anabolic steroids are usually available as esters of the parent drugs. Often, a drug in its original form may lack certain properties that are desired: for example, good solubility in oil or fat. There may be a part of the molecule to which one may add an additional chemical group to give the new molecule desired properties, but in such a way that over time in the body, the modification will be removed, restoring the parent drug. If the modified molecule is itself not active, needing to be converted back to the parent drug, then this is a prodrug. Anabolic steroids such as testosterone cypionate and nandrolone decanoate are prodrugs. Since esters of anabolic steroids are so often used in bodybuilding, in this article we will examine them closely.
